Help is here.
The Food Pantry is available to North Reading residents and those who attend a church in town. If you're eligible, please contact us first and bring a photo ID and proof of residency, like a utility bill, on your first visit.
Clients are welcome to visit the pantry twice a month, which means they can come in every other week. We provide both perishable and non-perishable foods to help supplement groceries available from other sources.
Hours & Location
The North Reading Food Pantry is conveniently located near the center of town, at 150 Haverhill Street, North Reading — right in front of the Hilltop Nursery School.
We are open for Client Shopping on Mondays, during the following hours:
Monday Mornings:
9:30am - 11:00am
Monday Evenings: (1st & 3rd of the month)
6:30pm - 8:00pm
Please note: we are open on most Monday holidays, except Memorial Day and Labor Day. On these holidays, we are open on Tuesdays instead. Additionally, if July 4th, Christmas, or New Year's Day falls on a Monday, or if North Reading schools are canceled due to a snow day, we will inform our clients of our adjusted opening hours.
