Our Mission

The North Reading Food Pantry is a program of Christian Community Service (CCS). CCS aims to help local individuals in need by providing emergency financial support and access to the food pantry's resources.

Additionally, we offer spiritual enrichment to the community through ecumenical events like Christmas on the Common and Easter Sunrise Service.

Our History

We have been in operation since 1996 and is a 501(c)3 non-profit, tax-exempt organization as part of CCS

Thanks to the generous support of local businesses, organizations, and individuals, the Food Pantry relocated to its permanent location at 150 Haverhill Street in August 2020. We are especially grateful for the Union Congregational Church's donation of the building to us as part of their 350th celebration.
